These colourful Japanese lacquered paper & silver plated bead necklaces are fabulous on, perfect for any season. They are lightweight & comfortable to wear. All paper beads are individually made & lacquered from Japanese washi papers. The black rubber cord has also been embellished with lacquered Japanese washi paper & silver plated beads. All necklaces have a toggle clasp.

Handmade process: The beads are crafted from individually cut balsa wood pieces which have been covered with beautiful Japanese washi paper & lacquered. The rubber cords have small sections of lacquered Japanese washi paper edged with silver plated beads.

Packaging: The necklace will be presented in a black velvet lined box.

Care: The necklace is not intended to be immersed in water although a little rain is not an issue - the adhesive & lacquer is water proof.
